Product Description |
Whether cooking for a crowd or stocking the freezer with leftovers, the Camerons 20-quart stockpot produces vast quantities of soup, stew, pasta, or mashed potatoes. Constructed of durable 18/10 stainless steel, this generous vessel resists denting and features a polished exterior. With its industrial grade triple-layered base, the pot cooks evenly while preventing unwanted hot spots. Secured with four rivets apiece, two large handles provide ample space for easy lifting even when using oven mitts. A tempered, glass lid fits tightly to trap in heat while allowing food to be monitored. Although the pot safely withstands oven temperatures, its lid should not exceed 270 degrees F. Measuring 13-1/2 by 14 inches with its lid on, the stockpot cleans safely in the dishwasher and comes with a 20-year warranty. -- Amy Arnold

Large stainless steel stock pot

This stock pot worked extemely well because it was large enough for my needs and worked well because it had the heat evening base that distributed the heat evenly preventing burn spots. It was also easy to clean because it was made from good quality stainless steel. The glass lid was most helpful in allowing me to monitor the cooking.

Very sturdy pot. It is quite big- 20 qt equals 5 gallons! It was weird using it for the first time to make soup and only using half the pot. Normally my soups are always near the top of the pot. I've used the pot a few times already to make soups, spaghetti sauce, corned beef and corn on the cob (not all at once!) and nothing burned/stuck to the bottom. The glass lid is great, the handle gets warm, but it is cool enough to pickup without a potholder. I am very much enjoying this Stockpot.
Afraid the glass will break

Serious cooking requires rugged tools. If somebody needs a 20 quart pot, they must be serious cooks! The glass lid relegates this pot to amateurs! What if it drops?
