This quick and easy crockpot bean recipe is one of my favorites. With a can of beans makes the whole process that much easier and faster. I Prepare myself to everything I have on the previous evening and then I just transferred to my crockpot in the morning before I leave what's on my schedule for the day. This delicious dish can easily be served with delicious garlic bread, but if you want, you can serve a salad with it as well. Remember that the longer cooking time allows the flavors to develop, areBe sure to use too much salt.

Ingredients for this crockpot bean recipe:

1 lb sausage, skinless if preferred
1 large can of baked beans in tomato sauce
4 oz mushrooms, halved
1 kg small potatoes, cut into thin slices
1 onion, finely chopped
2 / 3 cup vegetable broth
1 teaspoon chili sauce
2 tablespoons oil
1 tablespoon tomato paste
Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Method:

Heat the oil in a large saucepan and the onions and potatoes forapproximately 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Stir in the remaining ingredients and bring just bring to a boil.
Transfer to the crockpot.
Cover and cook for 6-10 hours on LOW.

Serve with lots of warm garlic bread.
