This very simple chili with chicken and ham, but made mincemeat could be substituted for the chicken and / or ham, if desired. The recipe was based on a number of (edible) experiments in an attempt to a particular manufacturer, originating in Texas Chili game. This brand is so popular that I hear that some people have that the area spent cases of doses ordered it shipped to their new residences. I think the "magic" ingredient that makes this dish stand out is the use ofbaked beans instead of pinto beans. Help because of the high content of starch to thicken the baked beans and this dish hel spread the wonderful aroma. It's so simple to make, I see no reason to buy commercial canned chili, not that I do not mind. How long has it been since you ate "a steamin 'hot bowl of chili-X brand" Oh that's too long.
