This pot is cheap. And yes, it does get dented. But it's super cheap, I really don't mind taking this out to a group camping trip, and we build a cook/grill fire with wood and stuff and I just set this on top of the grill sometimes. It gets covered with soot outside, but I don't mind it since it's only $12! I also just use it to bring about if friends and I have some sort of camping night somewhere and need to cook good amount of beef stew or soup or boil crab/clams or what not for a group of people.

I do have really a nice car camping set pots, and also nice light weight backpacking set that fit into my backpack as well, but those are more for personal use (when I'd go car camping or backpacking with just my husband). Why would I want to bring any of these special camping gears that I paid a lot for or pots I have at home that are decent and expensive, for something like large gathering camping trip for church group or ski trip w/ cheap cabin that I have to bring pots and pans or what not? (I have both anodized pots pans set and stainless pots and pans set from wedding gift and they're expensive) My friend is already complaining that her nice anodized pot is ruined after she brought it to church camping gathering for a few times, because there are always those idiots who will use your nice pot to deep fry something at 400F+ or use some metal spatula and scratch the bottom of the pan/pot beyond repair or burn food on it and try to scrub/wash it with metal sponge and ruin it further. (also, too much dish soap can ruin your pot as well - the food starts sticking to your pot/pan even if you've seasoned it very well in the beginning if you use pots/pans that aren't non-stick).

I've had this pot for over 2 years and it's dented here and there, got some soot-black spots outside that I cannot really get off (just have to remember to wash it outside with warm water if you have soot covering it, because your nice white ceramic sink will get soot all over it if you try to wash it in the house - if you have soot on it). I didn't even bother to take the sticker off the outside... I just didn't see the need to remove it when it's not something I'd be regularly using at home, I wouldn't be parading it on my counter top or anything. But the inside the pot is still clean, and I still haven't had a food burning on the pot problem because I've well-seasoned it before I started using it. The top is also stainless steel, and overall it's very light, so I don't have to worry about breaking the cover or having to lug around a heavy pot for camping. I plan to use this till this one is beyond repair, and even if I use this pot almost 2~3 times a month (for group gathering camping and such) for two years, it's totally fine and it seems it will last me for my intended use for years from now on.

As you might predict this is not of a quality level for frequent use.

I use mine for home brewing beer. It's good for my purposes and may also be useful for cooking large shellfish.

As the previous reviewer stated the sticker was near impossible to remove, barring that inconvenience I thinks it's a good value.
You get what you pay for

This pot is very light weight. The metal is so thin that I am able to dent the sides, bottom, or lid with my hands. But it was cheap. Also, there was a large sticker covering one side. It took ages to remove the sticker and the glue.
