decent inexpensive pot

I will not be using this for cooking, so I cannot comment on that, but it is fairly thin and and bends fairly easily. It arrived with a few dings and the top did not fit without a little bending and the instructions do not recommend using high heat unless you are boiling water. But it is perfect for my needs. I have seen better stock pots for the same $ as Sams Club.

I actually got it to hold ice in our 100 quart cooler Coleman 100-Quart Xtreme Wheeled Cooler (Blue) so that when the ice melts, it does not get everything soaking wet and being metal, the heat/cold would transfer from/to the rest of the cooler most efficiently. It also makes for a good ice-water beverage cooler within the cool "dry" cooler.

It fits well. It is 12" across at the base and 11" tall (without the top). I'd prefer it to be a little taller, but I was unable to find anthing 11" wide and 14" tall (so that it would also fit our 75 quart cooler).
